DAVID LYNCH

David Lynch was born and raised in Los Angeles, with roots from Ireland and Eastern Europe. He studied jazz music with James Moody, Charles Lloyd, Ralph Bowen, and his collaborator John Coltrane's associate, Garvin Bushell. At a young age, he received musical awards and scholarships, continuing his studies at the Dick Grove Music Workshops. At the age of 21, the desire to expand his musical and personal horizons brought him to Europe, with Athens as his final destination. Since then, he has played in numerous recordings and various film soundtracks, founding and co-founding several bands (Iskra, Human Touch, Living Space, The Missing Lynch, duoFaros, Special Request, etc.). He has also composed music for cinema, theatre, radio, television, and dance performances. Lynch has played with notable musicians such as Trilok Gurtu, Davy Spillane, Arild Andersen, Anthony Jackson, Biréli Lagrène, Marshall Hawkins, Lew Soloff, Arturo Sandoval, Martin Tillman, Milcho Leviev, «The Temptations», Barry White, «Galaxy 2 Galaxy», Joe Higgs, Eleni Karaindrou, Elli Paspala, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Savina Yannatou, Haris Alexiou, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Thanos Mikroutsikos, George Dalaras, Mario Frangoulis, and more. In 2013, he visited Burkina Faso in West Africa with a medical mission from the organization «Fair Planet», engaging interactively with the local children and conducting music seminars for elementary school kids. His personal discography includes CDs like «Lit'l Song» (1995), «Wandering Home» (1998), and «Music with a View.». With the band Human Touch, he recorded the albums «Human Touch» (1997) and «Movin» (2004).
