SONIA LIZA KENTERMAN
Sonia is a Greek-German film director and screenwriter. She studied Cinema Directing at London Film School (ΜΑ), and Sociology at the Panteion University. She also studied Film Directing at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos, and Acting at the School of Theatrical Art. Her graduation film NICOLETA received 15 awards and was shown in 41 Festivals around the world. She was later chosen by the Hellenic Film Centre to write and direct the short film WHITE SHEET. Her first full-length film TAILOR is a joint-production of Greece, Germany and Belgium. TAILOR premiered at the Tallinn Blank Nights Film Festival in the First Features Competition section. It has been chosen at a further 44 festivals and has won 16 awards, including Best Film, Best Plot, First Male Actor, Music and Costume.
