ERIC JULIUS PANAGOPOULOS

Eric Julius Panagopoulos was born in 1991. He graduated from the Music High School of Patras and then, from 2010 to 2011, studied in the Jazz Department of Trøndertun Folkehøgskole in Trondheim, Norway. He also studied at the TEI of Sound Technology and Musical Instruments in Kefalonia. As a guitarist, he is primarily self-taught, having taken lessons with Antonis Panagopoulos, Giannis Poupoulis, and Michalis Tsiftsis. Since 2017, when he settled in Athens, he has collaborated with many musicians of the local music scene, such as Jenny Kapadai, Giannis Kassetas, Angelos Polychronou, and others. He is a member of the bands The Soul Peanuts, One Inch Punch, as well as the quartet of saxophonist Stavros Manthos. Additionally, he created his own band named "Teleferik" in collaboration with Alexis Delis and Panagiotis Kostopoulos, with which he presents his own compositions.
