DIMITRIS ALIBERTIS
Dimitris Alibertis was born in Athens. He studied piano and harmony and went on to do contemporary music with Sami Amiri. At the same time, he completed his studies in Mathematics at the University of Crete. Afterwards he became involved in composition, taught by one of the pioneers of new complexity, Roger Redgate. He successfully completed his postgraduate studies in composition at Goldsmiths College, London. His works have been successfully performed by modern ensembles, such as Ensemble Exposé. He frequently writes essays and narratives. His works are occasionally published in literary magazines. His last book “Publisher of Overdue Obituaries” was published by Odos Panos. He lives and works in Sifnos.
