Tribute To Michel Legrand
The quartet of Dimitris Kalantzis presents a tribute to the great film composer Michel Legrand. Three Oscars, five Grammys, and numerous other nominations confirm the influence of the French composer on the history of film music. A creator of memorable musical themes in movies such as «The Umbrellas of Cherbourg», «The Young Girls of Rochefort», «The Thomas Crown Affair», and more. Legrand had an evident connection with jazz, as he was a jazz pianist himself, and his compositions have been interpreted by famous jazz musicians like Bill Evans and Art Farmer.
