BRING YOUR CHAIR - COZY FESTIVAL honors the rich cultural tradition of Sifnos, the birthplace of, among others, Ioannis Gryparis and Aristomenis Provelengios, inaugurating the Literary Readings in the picturesque settlement of Katavati. Aiming to establish itself as a dynamic literary institution on the island, the festival invites three contemporary Greek writers and poets who maintain a life connection with Sifnos. Dimitris Alibertis, Vasiliki Rapti, and Eleni Tzatzimaki will present their work and immerse us in their personal journey into the world of literature. Students from the Musical Workshop of Sifnos «Fragkiski Psacharopoulou - Karori», Katerina Georgouli, Simona Karavou, Stratis Lembesis, and Maria Matsouka, with their guitars, will accompany the event with works by Greek composers. The event is curated and presented by Athens Voice columnist Elena Dakoula.
